Norge i verdenstoppen og -bunnen

(1) Nr 2 i kategorien "Best generelt":

The HDI provides a composite measure of three dimensions of human development: living a long and healthy life (measured by life expectancy), being educated (measured by adult literacy and enrolment at the primary, secondary and tertiary level) and having a decent standard of living (measured by purchasing power parity, PPP, income). (...) The HDI for Norway is 0.968, which gives the country a rank of 2nd out of 177 countries with data.

Så hva er vi da i verdensbunnen? Jo, ikke overraskende:

With 0.1% of the world's population, Norway accounts for 0.3% of global emissions - an average of 19.1 tonnes of CO2 per person. These emission levels are above those of High-income OECD (table 3). If all countries in the world were to emit CO2 at levels similar to Norway's, we would exceed our sustainable carbon budget by approximately 758%.

Hva bør den logiske slutningen av denne informasjonen være? Hva bør verden lære av vår rikdom, vårt forbruksmønster og vår måte å leve på?

Og: hva er det vi bør strebe etter de nærmeste årene? Ta igjen Luxembourg i HDI?
